Love these shots of Tyler Florence's kitchen in Mill Valley (my former stomping grounds). To keep up with his blossoming career, the FoodNetwork Chef commutes between New York where he tapes his show, and the SF Bay Area.
According to Anh-Minh Lee who wrote about Florence in today's SF Chronicle, "In June, [he] opened the Tyler Florence kitchen and lifestyle retail store in downtown Mill Valley. Last month, he released two cookbooks, "Dinner at My Place" and "Stirring the Pot" (Meredith Books). He has been tapped as the dean of culinary education at Copia: The American Center for Wine, Food and the Arts in Napa. He recently ventured into winemaking. And his first restaurant, Bar Florence, is scheduled to open in the spring in San Francisco's Hotel Vertigo."
Tyler's Mill Valley kitchen features Viking stainless steel appliances, including a range with six burners and a griddle plate, a double oven, and a full-height wine cellar. Read more about Tyler and his family on SFGate.
