Loving: Desert Essence Organics

 

I picked up a few pieces from the new Desert Essence collection of hair and body care products the other day.  What a thrifty, yet scrumptious product line this is!  At about $9 per tube you can slather on a generous helping of nourishing, delightfully scented body and hand lotion in any of 5 scents.  I chose Vanilla Chai, and Almond (shown above).  I also picked up Green Apple and Ginger Thickening and Volumizing Shampoo and the coordinating conditioner. 

All products are made with extracts of organic herbs and oils, with a good helping of active vitamins to make the formulas work really well.   The line is vegan, wheat and gluten free as well as free of parabens, sodium lauryl/laureth sulfates, phthalates, artificial fragrances or colors, silicones, EDTA, glycol, and petroleum-based ingredients.

Desert Essence uses natural and organic ingredients from around the world, which support sustainability and protect the health of the environment.  The company supports a federation of plantation farmers who have signed a pledge not to use any artificial pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides.
