Here comes trouble ... a new "Housewife" lands on Wisteria Lane

 

Her role is being kept "top secret", but news is that Gail O'Grady (45) will be joining the cast of Desperate Housewives this season.  I have a feeling she may be replacing Nicolette Sheridan whose character is reportedly being written off the show. 

Hmmm lets see ... just spit-balling here, but in the land of TV dramas (ie: soaps) that most likely means that O'Grady will play Edie's long lost, either evil or sugar sweet, sister who arrives to claim Edie's belongings after Edie's shocking demise, but is also the mother of Orson Hodge's love child, and will stay on for a while to mix things up with Brie, whose buttons are easily pushed. 

O'Grady, who has played a number of walk-on parts on TV over the past few years, including Judge Gloria Weldon on Boston Legal, and has appeared in quite a few films, is pictured above working on the horror flick "The House that Jack Built".   Below, two shades of O'Grady - sweet with pearls, and seductive (read seducing all the hubbies on Wisteria Lane) with cleavage.  My guess is that producer Mark Cherry won't let that hot bod go to waste.
